Only one port on one unit needs to connect to your modem; the rest can daisy-chain wired connections between units or connect devices directly. Security runs through TP-Link HomeShield, covering parental controls, QoS, and network reports, alongside WPA/WPA2-PSK/WPA3 encryption and VPN support.
