The TP-Link Archer BE230, also sold under the model name BE3600, is a dual-band Wi-Fi 7 router built to bring the newer Wi-Fi 7 standard to a lower price point by skipping the 6GHz band found on higher-end tri-band models.
Wi-Fi 7 Speed And Multi-Gig Ports
It delivers combined wireless speeds up to 3.6 Gbps across the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, powered by a 2.0GHz quad-core CPU that keeps performance stable across multiple connected devices. On the wired side, it includes 1x 2.5 Gbps WAN port, 1x 2.5 Gbps LAN port, 3x Gigabit LAN ports, and 1x USB 3.0 port a combination that’s still uncommon even on some higher-priced Wi-Fi 6/6E routers, letting it make full use of faster-than-Gigabit internet plans where available.

Coverage, Security And Network Management
Four high-performance antennas with Beamforming technology concentrate the WiFi signal toward connected devices, and the router is EasyMesh-compatible, so it can be expanded later with a compatible mesh unit. It supports VPN Server and Client for secure remote access, and setup and day-to-day management run through the TP-Link Tether app, with access to TP-Link HomeShield for basic security and parental control features.
