Ports, Setup And Placement

A Gigabit Ethernet port lets the RE505X double as a wired-to-wireless access point  useful for connecting a smart TV or games console in a room with only a wired connection available. Two external antennas help extend coverage, and an intelligent signal light shows signal strength at the current outlet to help find the optimal placement. It works with any router or access point regardless of brand, and setup runs through the TP-Link Tether app.
